# Changing Coolant The coolant system should be filled completely with water and Water Wetter before each session. If temperature reach 250F, get off the throttle and get into the pits. If coming in hot, let the car idle to cool down before shutting the car down. Do not use antifreeze, as a spill on track would be a bad thing! Distilled water is preferred, but the system should be drained and replenished once a month to stop calcium build up and prevent bacterial growth.
